Everton star Richarlison is in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Tottenham over a €60m move this summer.

That’s according to journalist Bruno Andrade, who says the Brazilian has already ‘discussed the terms’ of his contract with Spurs.

Richarlison has been heavily linked with a move away from Everton this summer, with it believed the Blues need to secure a big sale to fund their own transfer business.

The forward is easily one of the most saleable assets in the current squad, having been linked with the likes of PSG and Real Madrid over the last year.

It seems he could be set for a stay in the Premier League, though, with Andrade reporting that Richarlison has ‘advanced negotiations’ with Tottenham over a €60m move this summer.

Indeed, talks are that far along that he has already discussed the terms of the contract he would sign with Antonio Conte’s side.

There is no mention of whether Everton would accept that price, but negotiations being at an advanced stage suggests it’s a figure they’re thinking about accepting.

That would make little sense given they signed Richarlison for a figure around £50m, and selling for €60m would see them make little profit once Watford get a sell-on percentage as well.

There is also very little logic to Tottenham spending such a figure on a player who is not better than any of their current front three, even if they do make money on Steven Bergwijn when he eventually departs.

It means this rumour might need to be taken with a pinch of salt for the time being, but Richarlison’s future is certainly something that will be up for discussion this summer.
