Everton sent a scout to the game involving Palermo and Fiorentina at the weekend, according to claims in the Italian media.
TMW report Everton were on the scouting list for the Serie A clash on Sunday, in which Palermo pulled off a surprise win. It’s been claimed Everton were casting their eye over Palermo forward Ilija Nestorovski and Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman will be looking to strengthen his squad in the next window, and potential targets will now be considered by the Premier League side.
If the claims are accurate with regards to Nestorovski then Everton have a good chance landing the player. With Palermo destined for Serie B for next season the Sicilian club will find it difficult to keep hold of their key players, with the 27-year-old Macedonian being one of those.
The Merseysiders may have more difficulties signing Badelji as the midfielder has been linked with some of the top clubs in Italy in recent months, and he’s more than likely to stay in Serie A.
