Everton striker Sandro Ramirez has several suitors in Spain, so long as the Toffees agree to let him go on a free transfer.

That’s what Super Deporte say today, stating that the striker will need to find an ‘amicable termination’ if he is to secure a move away from Goodison Park.

Ramirez has spent the last three seasons out on loan, with successive Everton managers having made it clear he is not part of their plans.

That has seen him spend time with Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid, although none of them could be considered a complete success.

Thus, moving him on has proven to be tricky business for Everton, who are keen to get him off the wage bill permanently.

It’s long been suggested that simply terminating his contract and taking the financial hit may be in their best interests and Super Deporte present that as the case today.

They say that several teams in Spain are looking for a ‘last-minute icing’ in this transfer window and because of that Ramirez ‘comes into play’ because he’s in the final year of his deal with Everton.

His goalscoring record is seen as a problem, but because Everton are determined to get rid and free up salary space, it is ‘feasible’ they will let him go on a free – perhaps so long as they get a future sale percentage or something of that nature – and that is attractive to potential suitors.

If he were to arrive on a free and accept ‘some reduction’ in his wages, then there could be several options for him.

Super Deporte say Real Valladolid ‘could offer him a new opportunity’ while Elche, Huesca and ‘especially Eibar’ could all ‘try to tackle his signing’.

It seems, though, for that to happen Sandro needs to find some sort of agreement with Everton, who may be best served taking a hit on the nose just to move on a player who has been a certifiable flop.
