According to a claim in the Turkish media, Everton are lining up an offer for Besiktas attacker Semih Kılıçsoy.
Following his performances for the Istanbul side last season the youngster has been linked with a move to the Premier League and more recently Everton.
Kontra Spor have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Kılıçsoy after reports last week that Everton are showing interest in the Turkish international.
They say the Premier League side are lining up a €20m offer for the 19-year-old ahead of the next transfer window. The Toffees are looking to convince Besiktas president Hasan Arat over a possible deal for the young forward, and it’s explained he’s at the decision stage over whether to sell one of the club’s prized assets.
Despite a lack of playing time in this campaign, Besiktas manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst recently said he’s happy with player, but such an offer could be difficult to turn down.
Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle United have all been linked with Kılıçsoy in recent months.
Kılıçsoy started 20 Super Lig games last season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Black Eagles until June 2028.
