There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Everton are still interested in Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama, ahead of the summer window.
The DR Congo international has been linked with a move to the Toffees in recent weeks and now the player has returned to training following a serious knee injury.
Luyindama has been sidelined since November but Fanatik believe there will be interest from other clubs this summer, including Everton.
It’s claimed Gala are determined to keep hold of the central defender, however, they may consider selling him for the right price.
Everton should expect to face competition from other clubs, including Premier League rivals Wolves and Aston Villa.
The Turkish giants paid €8m to sign Luyindama from Standard Liege following a successful loan spell with the Istanbul club last season.
The 26 year old’s contract with the Super Lig champions will expire at the end of June 2022.
