Clearly on his way out of Tottenham after falling out with Antonio Conte, Tanguy Ndombélé has a number of clubs waiting for him.
His favourite are Paris Saint-Germain, perhaps understandably, but two others, namely Valencia and Everton, are also after him.
The manageress Toffees still need to bolster their squad before the end of the window, but their well-known financial struggles means only certain deals can be pulled off, like a loan.
That’s why Ndombélé is an attractive option for Everton, and Foot Mercato report the latest on the situation.
The French website claim that what’s holding up the deal for PSG is the fact they can’t get rid of anyone to make room for the midfielder, meaning that if they can’t, he will have to accept another offer elsewhere.
That’s where Everton come in, as the Goodison Park side are, like the other two, ‘ready to take on 100% of the player’s salary’.
Still, Ndombélé’s priority remains PSG, but it’s made clear that the player’s ‘isn’t thrilled by the Toffees’, meaning ‘only Valencia, currently, could please him in case of talks breaking down’ with the French club.
This means whoever is dealing with this from Everton’s end will need to be very convincing if they want to turn this around.
