Everton are the latest club to be linked with Barcelona’s Lucas Digne, and it’s a case of the more the merrier for the French fullback.

Digne wants to leave Barca this summer in order to find more prominence elsewhere, and Sport report he’s already told the Catalan club he wants out.

Barca want an offer over €16m to sell the player, and whilst Juventus have been repeatedly linked, it’s explained Everton are the new club in town.

The Premier League club are said to be willing to present a ‘formal offer’ for the left back, which will come close to the €16m asking price, not only that… there’s the chance of a double deal.

Yerry Mina has been repeatedly linked to Everton recently and Sport state: ‘The English club plans a joint bid for Digne and Yerry Mina in a matter of days.’

Digne himself is said to prefer Juventus, but also wants to be sure he has regular playing time. The 24 year old may not want to read the Turin media then, who would see him as a squad player for Juve.

Sport believe Digne to Juve would rest on Alex Sandro being sold, but that isn’t the slant which has been pushed in Turin.

Digne wants out, Barca want money, Juve may not feel the way Digne would like them to… there’s a good transfer chance for Everton here.
