Everton have now ‘put a proposal on the table’ to sign Sandro Ramirez from Malaga when the transfer window opens. The transfer fee between the two clubs is set at the player’s €6m clause, so there’ll be no negotiation in that regard.
All the proposals are related to salary, and perhaps signing on fee, for Sandro himself. Earlier this week the Seville media reported Sandro agreeing a deal with Jorge Sampaoli’s side, but that was soon denied in the wider Spanish media.
Thursday sees Marca reiterate that, and the Spanish media also say Everton have made an offer, and it’s something which pleases the player. That doesn’t mean a deal is agreed, or even close to being agreed, but it’s a step forward for Everton in their attempts to sign the Ronald Koeman target.
Marca say Sandro will wait a few days before making his final decision. Don’t be surprised if those days turn into weeks.
Sevilla haven’t been completely ruled out, nor has a stay at Malaga, but the Spanish newspaper believe Atletico Madrid or a move to the Premier League are the two likelier outcomes right now.
