As you might have seen over the past 24 hours or so, Jean-Philippe Gbamin is on his way out of Everton.
The defensive midfielder, who was bought from 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2019 for £22.5m, never managed to impose himself at Goodison Park, with injuries plaguing his time in England.
He has only managed a grand total of five appearances this season so far, and a move away from the Toffees was being reported, with CSKA Moscow reportedly interested.
Well, if Foot Mercato in France are to be believed, that deal is now almost complete.

The information comes from their journalist, Santi Aouna, who claims the Ivory Coast international’s move to Russia is ’99% done’.
The deal taking the Everton player to Moscow is expected to be a ‘loan without an option to buy until the end of the season’, allowing the 26-year-old more chances to play and potentially earn himself a permanent move away from England down the line.
