Le10 Sport are claiming an exclusive on Tuesday evening, stating agents representing Djibril Sidibe held a meeting with AC Milan ‘less than a month ago’.
The fullback had been linked with a quick Goodison Park exit when his loan move from AS Monaco wasn’t going so well, and there were claims of interest from the Rossoneri.
During October, the Italian media pushed the idea of a potential move to Milan during the winter market, however, it’s gone relatively quiet since.
Sidibe’s spell at Everton improved from October onwards, and since Carlo Ancelotti was appointed on December 21st, he’s started and completed every Premier League match, as well as the FA Cup disaster against Liverpool.
Ancelotti clearly counts on the Frenchman, and that makes it unlikely Sidibe will be going anywhere. To be fair, Le10 Sport don’t claim that, just that talks were held not so long ago… potentially prior to the manager taking over at Everton.
