Henry Onyekuru’s agent Guillam Costet-Barmada has spoken to the Russian media and confirmed CSKA Moscow are showing an interest in the Everton player.
Speaking to Sport24, Kostet-Barmada explained reports saying Onyekuru has rejected the chance to join CSKA are not true: “I can say CSKA are showing a real interest in him. Did he reject a move to CSKA? This is not true. These are the only things I can say at the moment.”
Galatasaray are still working very hard to keep the player and his situation will become much clearer when the Africa Cup of Nations ends. Nigeria remain in the competition after defeating Cameroon at the weekend.
There have been recent reports the young winger would be open to a move back to Gala due to their participation in the Champions League next season.
