Fanatik claim Everton striker Oumar Niasse has told Everton he wants to leave the club in order to join Trabzonspor.

Yesterday we covered reports from the Turkish press with regards to Trabzonspor’s interest in the 29 year old. The Turkish club are looking at other alternatives after they failed to convince former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge over a move.

In today’s edition of Fanatik, the Turkish newspaper reports Niasse is now ‘very close’ to joining the Super Lig side and he wants to return to Turkey having played there with Akhisarspor during the 2013/14 season.

It’s reported Everton are also looking to part ways with the player and they want to offload some of their strikers after signing Moise Kean from Juventus.

Niasse spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City and looks surplus to requirements under Marco Silva.

He previously had a loan spell at Hull City, and is under contract with the Toffees until June 2020.
