With Salomon Rondon being barely used by Everton this season, his departure from Goodison Park is taken as certain by Marca .
The striker’s contract with the Toffees may only expire at the end of the season, but according to the newspaper, the player is working to have his deal rescinded.
Rondon’s intention would be to become a free agent in January, therefore not depending on Everton to agree to him joining any club he wants.
According to Marca, the striker will not be short of options by then. It’s claimed that he already received approaches from clubs in Spain, England, Italy, Portugal and Turkey.
It isn’t said if Rondon has a preference for a specific league, even though it’s claimed that the player gives his priority to a club where he can compete at a ‘high level’.
The 33-year-old only made eight appearances for Everton this season, most of them as a late sub. His last match for the Toffees was played in mid-October, with the Goodison Park side losing 2-0 to Tottenham, when he was brought on for only nine minutes.
