Whatever the truth about Kevin Mirallas’ situation at training, and what happened with Duncan Ferguson, it seems clear his days at the club look numbered.
That’s the assumption which has been taken in Belgium over the past few days, with Mirallas thought to be frustrated he was wasn’t allowed to leave during the summer.
With interest from former club Olympiacos in the last window, Mirallas tried to ‘force a transfer’ report Het Belang van Limburg. After the disagreement with ‘club monument’ Ferguson, the Belgian newspaper say Mirallas has ‘used up credit’ with Everton fans.
Now it’s just a case of waiting to see how a new manager thinks about things, but Mirallas won’t want to sit on the bench or in the stands for the rest of the season. With reasonable hopes of making Belgium’s World Cup squad, the 30 year old has a lot to lose.
Those Everton fans angry with the player will suggest he should have thought of that before the latest alleged incident.
