Even though Everton star Richarlison only joined the squad for the 2021/22 season this week, it doesn’t mean he had a lot of time to rest during the Toffees’ holidays.
Since the end of the Premier League season, the Brazilian took part in World Cup qualifiers, the Copa America and even the Olympics, where he was top scorer and won a gold medal.
Now it looks like right when he was reuniting with Everton, he had a message about his future at the club, and was told that he’s staying at Goodison Park for at least another year.
It’s Goal Brasil who reports it today, claiming that the Toffees do not intend to negotiate the forward’s exit in this transfer window.
It’s claimed that when rejoining the squad, Richarlison heard from the club that ‘he’ll not be released’ this summer, even though Carlo Ancelotti wants to take him to Real Madrid.
Everton are said to be excited with the 24-year-old’s comeback. Firstly, because they consider him to be an important player for the season, and also due to the growth in his market value.
Goal Brasil writes that Real Madrid have been the ‘main interested’ club in his signing, with Carlo Ancelotti having called him. However, no talks were opened for the transfer.
