Milliyet claim Everton forward Cenk Tosun has rejected a chance to move to Qatar as he’s looking to stay at Everton at least until January.
The Turkish striker has been linked with a move to Al Gharafa in recent weeks but Milliyet report he’s looking to fight for a place in Marco Silva’s team.
It’s reported the reluctance of Tosun’s wife to move to Qatar has also played a big part in his decision and despite the offers being financially ‘very pleasing’, the 28 year old wants to remain at Goodison Park.
He played his first Premier League game of the season at the weekend against Sheffield United, but wasn’t able to prevent his side losing 2-0.
The Turkey captain has been strongly linked with a return to his former club Besiktas in recent weeks and fellow Istanbul sides Basaksehir and Galatasaray are also said to be interested in the attacker ahead of the winter market.
Tosun is under contract with Everton until June 2022.
