Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru has spoken to Turkish media ahead of this weekend’s derby clash with Besiktas.
The youngster is currently on loan with Galatasaray, but it’s expected he’ll return to Everton this summer.
As covered by Fotomac, Onyekuru was asked about his future following interest from other clubs: “I’m not focusing on my future now. We have four very important games before the end of the season, and I am completely focused on these matches. Our biggest aim is to make double. After that, we’ll see what will happen for me.”
In recent months Onyekuru has been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Bayern Munich but he could still be part of Marco Silva’s plans next season.
There have been claims the Galatasaray board have conceded defeat over loaning Onyekuru’s beyond this season because Everton don’t want to send him out on a temporary deal again.
Onyekuru has impressed for Gala since arriving last summer and he’s the Istanbul club’s top scorer in this campaign.
The 22 year old has yet to make his debut for Everton due to work permit issues, which has resulted in loan moves to Anderlecht and Galatasaray in the past 15 months.
