On Tuesday, we covered an article in the Italian media that Everton’s Lucas Digne was the centre of attention at Inter these days.
The Serie A side are looking for a new left-back, and with the Frenchman having fallen out with Rafa Benítez at Goodison Park, a transfer in January is a possibility.
It was claimed on Tuesday that an approach had been made from the Italians, with talks starting regarding a potential move in the next month.
While the idea of a loan was one the Toffees were ready to explore, it was stated that Everton wanted an obligatory purchase clause in any deal.
That appears to have changed, however, as Gazzetta dello Sport explain that ‘the conditions for the deal to go through are now known: loan with the right of redemption, without obligation’.
Much like Tuesday’s, it’s pointed out that Digne is happy with the idea of going to Milan, having ‘expressed his appreciation for the destination’.
Gazzetta, however, do also bring up Chelsea’s reported interest in the player, describing it as a potential ‘important obstacle’ for Inter.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sky Italia pointed out the Blues were following Digne with ‘great interest’.
