According to Takvim, as covered by Sporx, Fenerbahce are targeting Everton forward Oumar Niasse ahead of the January transfer window.
It’s reported Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has opened talks with the Senegal international’s representatives with regards to a potential move, and the first response from the player’s camp is reportedly positive.
The Yellow Canaries will be trying to sell some of their fringe players in January and Takvim report those funds will be used to bring in the Everton man.
Niasse has been continuously linked with a return to Turkey in the past few years and was heavily linked with a move to Trabzonspor in the summer. However, the Super Lig side ended up signing Daniel Sturridge when he was released by Liverpool.
The Everton attacker was with Akhisarspor during the 2013/14 season, and then joined Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.
This season he’s made just one appearance for the Toffees, replacing Moise Kean at the Old Trafford earlier this month.
His contract will expire at the end of June 2020.
