According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, Everton striker Cenk Tosun could leave the club in January, but his future will depend on Carlo Ancelotti’s decision, if the Italian is installed as the new Toffees manager.
It’s claimed if decides to leave the Merseyside club, his first option is to stay in the Premier League, whilst the Bundesliga is also an option.
Despite reports linking him with a move to Besiktas, Takvim report the Turkish international doesn’t want to return, as he wishes to continue his career in a bigger league.
Tosun was a bit-part player under Marco Silva, and will be hoping things will be different for him when Ancelotti takes charge as expected.
Last night he came on as a substitute against Leicester City in the EFL Cup, and assisted Leighton Baines’ injury-time strike.
Tosun has played 259 minutes of competitive football this season for Everton, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
