A couple of months ago, French striker Sébastien Haller was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham.
Talk of him signing for Tottenham has appeared to cool down, but it seems another Premier League club might be interested in signing him.
According to France Football, Everton are interested in signing Haller, and have already started negotiations with Utrecht. It is reported several clubs in France are also interested, but financially Everton are far better equipped.
France Football also suggest the possibility of other English clubs being interested, but they haven’t mentioned anyone. Tottenham are unlikely to come back for Haller, after already completing a deal for Vincent Janseen.
Everton are actively looking for a striker, and have also been linked to Fernando Llorente, and Graziano Pello, who has moved to China.
Haller had 24 goals and 8 assists to his name last season, and has another three years left on his contract at the Eredivisie club. That’s a very good return, especially for a footballer who only turned 22 in June.
