Juventus are willing to sell midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, and Everton are one of the sides to have shown an interest.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say Juve will try to set up an exchange with Moise Kean for the midfielder.
They explain that despite being a regular under Andrea Pirlo this season, Juventus’ management are not convinced by Rabiot and are now willing to let him go.
They have ‘taken note of the goodness of a possible sale’, and there are two reasons for that, his €7m a year wages and the fact they can get a ‘good profit’ from any move.
The question is if anyone in the Premier League is willing to pay for the Frenchman, who is valued at €20m upwards. In that regard, Everton are one to keep an eye on.
Tuttosport say there are ‘no shortage of enquiries’, and Everton are one of the interested parties to ‘look out for’.
They’re keen because of Carlo Ancelotti, but Juventus will try to set up an exchange with Moise Kean, although they also have another card to play in that regard, Merih Demiral.
There’s no mention of Everton making a move or anything of that nature as yet, just that they are one of the clubs who could be interested in paying what Juventus want.
That’s not surprising, really, given they’ve been linked to Rabiot since January last year, and Ancelotti’s excellent relationship with the midfielder is well known.
It seems, though, that everything will rest on what happens with Kean: if Everton will sanction a swap deal, they can seemingly get one, maybe both, of Demiral and Rabiot in exchange.
One key issue that will need resolving with Rabiot, however, is his wages, with the newspaper stating he ‘earns too much for the tastes of his suitors’ at this moment in time.
