Everton have offered midfielder Allan to AS Roma as they try to move him out of Goodison Park before the end of the window.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who say Everton are offering the Brazilian around Serie A in an attempt to find a suitor.

The midfielder is currently in the final year of his deal with the Toffees and unlikely to sign an extension, having fallen down the pecking order under Frank Lampard.

That means it would be wise for Everton to sell him before this window shuts, as he will be free to negotiate with clubs about a free transfer next summer come the January transfer window.

So far there have been no interested parties but yesterday we covered a report from Italy that stated Roma were carrying out evaluations as they look to replace Georginio Wijnaldum.

CM now pick up on that and say Everton have been ‘offering’ the player to Roma and other clubs in Serie A.

According to their information, the player has ‘broken completely’ with the Blues and they are now looking to ship him out before the transfer window closes.

A return to Italy, where he impressed with Napoli, makes the most sense and Roma are among ‘those interested’ in a potential deal.

He’s available for ‘less than €10m’, which suggests Everton are willing to take a big loss just to move him on for a figure.

Whether Roma will pay that remains to be seen given they’ve spent big this summer to bolster Jose Mourinho’s squad this summer, but the interest is there and Allan has been offered nonetheless.
