Fotospor report Everton have offered Cenk Tosun to Istanbul clubs Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
The Turkish striker could leave Merseyside this summer as he’s unlikely to be a part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans next season.
According to Fotospor, Tosun is now keen to return to Turkey if he continues to receive the wages he currently earns with the Toffees. The Turkish website report he’s earning around €2m a year after tax.
After Everton’s offer, it’s reported Besiktas board have asked permission to speak with their former player and they could look to loan him for next season.
The former Gaziantepspor striker is currently recovering from a serious knee injury which he picked up whilst on loan at Crystal Palace last season.
Tosun is expected to return to action in November and he’s desperate for first-team football ahead of the Euros next summer.
His contract with Everton will expire at the end of June 2022.
