AC Milan are showing an interest in Roma striker Tammy Abraham, potentially offering competition to Everton, although the Toffees would have an obvious advantage.

Corriere della Sera cover the player today and how he may be one of several strikers on the move from Roma this summer.

That’s because Andrea Belotti appears to be on his way to Como, after the two sides come to an agreement and the striker ‘dissolved his reservations’ and accepted the move to join Cesc Fabregas’ side.

His departure will the first of a series of exits for Roma up front, with Romelu Lukaku’s loan also ending and Tammy Abraham another on the exit ramp.

He has suitors in England, namely Everton, Leicester, Tottenham and Aston Villa, but AC Milan have also shown an interest in the last few hours.

They’ve faced frustration in their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee so have now turned their attention to Abraham as a potential alternative. Roma value him at €30m, which would be within Milan’s budget.

That’s bad news for Everton in their potential pursuit of the striker, who could be a replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is being linked with a move to Newcastle United.

Everton could have an advantage, though, given Roma owner Dan Friedkin is set to buy the club from Farhad Moshiri, having entered into an exclusivity period on that front earlier this week.

He would, presumably, prefer to sell between two clubs he owns to help the books at each than to Milan, potentially handing Everton an advantage in the race for Abraham should one develop.
