Inter Milan could look to pair Edin Dzeko with a younger striker this summer, and Everton’s Moise Kean is likely to be the target in that scenario.
That’s according to Inter Live, who say the Italian side have always had a ‘great appreciation’ of the striker since his time at Juventus.
The website reports that Kean is ‘eager’ to return to Italy so he can play regularly and ‘offer good performances’.
Because of this, his agent Mino Raiola is working ‘now more than ever’ with Inter’s management to make a move happen as he’s already in contact with them over Denzel Dumfries.
Everton, for their part, are open to a sale but would ‘never accept’ offers below €35m, even if something around that amount seems fairly reasonable, and that could open up the possibility of an exchange.
The Toffees like Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic but Inter have ‘no intention’ of giving up any of their other big players, not even in a ‘lavish exchange’ that would be the most convenient solution.
The impending sale of Lukaku will refill their coffers, so they’ve no need for a sale and would need reflection at the club.
Finding a striker is key, though, and a ‘real investment’ is needed but only under the right economic conditions.
Thus, they need to find a new solution if they are to get Kean out of Everton, something we’re sure Raiola will help them work out.
