Arkadiusz Milik moving to Everton from Napoli would be ‘beneficial’ to both clubs were it to happen in January.
That’s according to journalist Carlo Jacomuzzi, who believes that the striker could adapt well to life in the Premier League.
Milik has been heavily linked with a move to Everton, who are of course managed by his former boss Carlo Ancelotti.
The Polish striker finds himself out of favour at Napoli under Gennaro Gattuso after the Italian side tried hard to sell him in the summer.
It is expected that he will be moved on in January, particularly as his contract is set to expire next summer and Napoli will want to ensure they get something for him rather then seeing him leave on a free.
Everton have regularly been named as suitors as they could do with competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jacomuzzi thinks a deal would make sense.
“Milik at Everton? We have terminated the contract, so I have no particular knowledge,” he told Radio Marte, relayed by Napoli Magazine.
“It seems to me, however, that the team’s attack is very open. Milik’s would be a market transaction that would be convenient for both parties.
“The coach’s knowledge can be beneficial, but Milik can adapt well to English football. As a proposal, it could be interesting.
“There may be some possibilities in the January football market, but everyone will want to save money. An agreement can be found.”
That’s a sentiment shared by fellow journalist Umberto Chiariello, who believes Napoli should jump at any offer from Everton.
“If it were true that Ancelotti gives us 11 million for Milik at Everton, he must be carried in a carriage with a bow,” he told Super Sport, relayed by TuttoNapoli and further adding to the idea that a deal is there to be done come January.
