Steve Mandanda believes he’s available to leave Marseille on a free transfer this summer. There’s been some confusion over his contract status, but an exit from the club would surprise nobody.
Mandanda is currently away, or at home, with the French squad at Euro 2016 and that would explain why there’s been no progress on a possible deal.
One of the most linked clubs has been Everton, given the exit of Tim Howard, and Mandanda would surely be an excellent replacement.
On Saturday, French newspaper L’Equipe say that Mandanda dreams of a move to England or Spain, which obviously means Everton would be right up his street.
However, L’Equipe also point out there’s been no progress on the idea of that kind of deal.
Everyone is still waiting.
