Everton are among the clubs chasing Royale Union Saint-Gilloise star Victor Boniface.
The striker impressed last season, scoring 22 goals and registering 12 assists from 55 games. This has seen him draw attention from other clubs, including the Toffees and Sevilla.
La Colina de Nervión have a report on the La Liga side’s interest in the 22-year-old.
His potential arrival is subject to exits as Sevilla need to carry out a few big sales in order to sign him. In addition to this, the Spanish club will also face competition from Everton and Bayer Leverkusen.
It’s claimed Sean Dyche’s side and the German club are the ‘most interested’ teams.
For now, the report states Sevilla are out of the race to sign the Nigeria international. La Colina de Nervión say his asking price is at €15m and that could rise because of interest from Everton and the Bundesliga side.
It’s stated Sevilla are depending on Boniface’s desire to play in the Champions League, which neither the Merseyside club nor Leverkusen can offer next season.
The Andalusian club have to ‘move quickly’ if they want to maintain any hope of acquiring the frontman’s signature.
