Everton midfielder Allan has become doubtful for Brazil’s match against Uruguay on Tuesday night.

In a press conference this afternoon, manager Tite claimed he doesn’t know if he can count on the player, as a ‘clinical’ issue may take him from the game.

The coach didn’t bring any other details on the potential injury, and speaking to the national side’s press team, Globo Esporte found out the reason.

Allan had muscular pain following Friday’s game against Venezuela, and is apparently still struggling. That’s why Brazil are considering playing Juventus’ Arthur in his place.

This was Brazil’s last training session before travelling to Uruguay, so we should only get more news on Allan’s situation when the team news comes out on Tuesday night. The midfielder played the 90 minutes against Venezuela and was expected to start again tomorrow.

Everton will be in London to play Fulham next Sunday, so Carlo Ancelotti is probably keeping an eye on the situation and hoping the midfielder is fit in time.
