Moise Kean’s future ‘remains in the balance’ as Juventus continue to consider signing him from Everton a year early.
That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who cover the situation around the striker today amid efforts to move him on.
They explain that Kean has returned to pre-season with Juventus in good form, taking advantage of a gap in the forward line to climb the hierarchy and trying to make an impression on Maximiliano Allegri.
The player is currently set to spend another year at Juventus until they have to spend €28m on a mandatory redemption clause included in his current loan deal from Everton.
It’s long been established they’d like to dodge that, but several efforts to move the striker on have not succeeded.
He was ‘proposed to Roma’, is part of talks with PSG over a swap deal for Leandro Paredes and was even included in the negotiations with Atlético Madrid for Alvaro Morata.
The problem is he has ‘not found support’ at any of those clubs, and his ‘future remains in the balance’.
That means, despite it looking like Everton would get their €28m a year early, that is not on the cards at this moment in time as Juventus struggle to find a suitor willing to pay.
