Everton striker Moise Kean is determined to prove a point at Juventus between now and the end of the season after the decision about Paulo Dybala’s future.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the striker is still in favour in Italy despite reports to the contrary.
Juventus recently announced that Dybala will be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract comes to an end.
That will leave a big hole in their forward line but has also shaken up the pecking order at the club in the short term.
For Kean, it is ‘a chance for a breakthrough’ according to Tuttosport, who say ‘it’s time for the jump’ in regards to the player.
They say the striker can ‘take advantage’ of the situation to prove himself to Maximiliano Allegri. The Juventus boss has often given the Italian praise, but game time has been limited, and so Dybala’s impending departure gives Kean a chance ‘to convince’.
He is aware that Dusan Vlahovic is the man for the future, but beyond that, the places are up for grabs, with Alvaro Morata’s future in the balance, and so he intends to try and make an impression.
He also knows that Juventus ‘wants to try to buy him back’ from his loan deal, which does include a purchase obligation in it anyway.
That doesn’t become active until next year, but recent reports have indicated Juventus could pay Everton early so they can decide what to do with Kean; either sell him or loan him out.
Now it seems Kean wants to do his best to make that happen, something we’re sure Everton will be more than happy about.
