Everton striker Moise Kean is being ‘evaluated’ by Inter Milan as they look for replacements for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian striker is set to complete a return to Chelsea in the coming days, meaning the Italian champions have to find a replacement before the end of the transfer window.
They’ve already secured a deal for Edin Dzeko buy it has been made clear in Italy that they want to bring more than one player in to replace Lukaku if they can.
Gazzetta Dello Sport cover that situation today and say while Atalanta striker Dusan Zapata has been talked about for days, it is clear Atalanta will not sell him if they cannot get his replacement secured first.
Thus, Inter chiefs Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are looking at ‘alternative solutions’ and Everton striker Moise Kean is being ‘evaluated’ in that regard.
Inter were keen on him while he was still in Italy with Juventus, and he has regularly been ‘under the eyes’ of the Nerazzurri CEO ever since.
Kean, for his part, ‘does not want to return’ to Everton this season after his loan spell with Paris Saint Germain, although he already has done after it expired, so we’ll assume Gazzetta mean he doesn’t want to play for Everton this season.
There’s no mention of an asking price or anything of that nature but Kean to Inter has certainly been picking up pace in the last few days and it’s one to keep an eye on, with things likely to pick up once Lukaku’s exit is finalised.
