When Moise Kean was bought by Everton from Juventus, there was a lot of excitement.
After all, the forward was one of the hottest Italian prospects, and there was hope the player could blossom in the Premier League at Goodison Park.
Nothing really came of it, however, since the player struggled for game time, eventually being sent out on loan to Paris Saint-Germain, where he excelled.
Once again, upon his return, there was hope he could finally impress in England, but the departure of Carlo Ancelotti didn’t help, and so a new loan, this time a long one, was arranged with Juventus.
The problem here is that he isn’t exactly shining in Turin, either, as Max Allegri just brought in Dusan Vlahovic, which suggests game time will now be even harder for Kean to come by.
Calciomercato look at the situation, and explain that Paris Saint-Germain are still very keen to bring him back following his good spell there.
With the deal being a ‘two-year loan of €7m up front with the right to redemption that becomes an obligation upon the occurrence of certain (easy to achieve) objectives plus another €3m in bonuses’, it’s understandable that such ‘important figures’ are ones ‘Everton absolutely do not want to lose’.
In essence, for a move to be agreed, ‘whoever wants Kean will have to take responsibility for supporting this operation according to the terms already agreed with Juventus’.
Should that happen, the ‘most likely destination remains PSG’, who ‘already tried in the last winter transfer window’.
That came about from the Juventus wanting Icardi, who Leonardo’s response being: ‘OK, but give us Kean in exchange.’
The issue there, however, was that the forward had already played for both Everton and the Serie A side this season, making it impossible for him to play for PSG until the next campaign.
However, that doesn’t mean they will give up easily, because Calciomercato make it clear: ‘See you in June, because the Parisians will try again’.
