Everton have done Liverpool’s upcoming Champions League opponents Atalanta a favour by loaning them their youth centre to train in ahead of the game.

The Reds take on the Italian side at Anfield this evening looking to make it four wins from four in Group D this season.

Atalanta, on the other hand, travel to Liverpool looking to bag their second win, with them competing with Ajax for second place in the group.

If they are to beat the reigning Premier League champions at Anfield, then preparation will be key, and it seems Everton have helped out in that regard.

Tuttomercatoweb report that the Blues have loaned them their youth sports centre to train in ahead of the game.

That’s even seen Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti make a ‘special visit’ to watch the Italian team this morning, observing them going through the ‘finishing process’ ahead of their clash with Liverpool.

Ancelotti, of course, will be well aware of Atalanta having coming up against them several times during his time in charge of Napoli. Indeed, perhaps Ancelotti fancied a reunion with compatriot Gian Piero Gasperini.

Either way, it seems Everton and Ancelotti have played the welcoming hosts, something we’re sure Liverpool will be extremely grateful for.
