As the race for Sporting midfielder João Palhinha seems to be heating up, we start to see more clubs getting involved in the battle for his signing.
Earlier today, a piece from A Bola claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers now have the Lions player as a ‘priority target’ for the summer market.
Now in a story from Correio da Manhã, it’s said that Premier League sides Everton and Leicester City are interested in the 25-year-old as well.
The story says both the Toffees and the Foxes have been ‘following the player for some time’.
But Everton and Leicester City should probably hurry up, because the other clubs seem to be ahead with their interest.
Reports from Italy have beeen claiming that Napoli should soon make an offer for the midfielder.
Even though Sporting currently demand €30m, it’s more likely the Serie A side will put on the table something around €15m plus bonuses.
Wolves’ interest is also highlighted, but it’s still not clear how much they’re willing to pay for the midfielder.
