Besiktas are uninterested in a deal involving Everton striker Cenk Tosun for star man Cyle Larin this summer.
That’s according to Fotomaç, who say a potential proposal from the Toffees will fall on deaf ears if it arrives.
Recent reports have indicated that Everton are keen on Canadian forward Larin this summer, with Carlo Ancelotti looking to add competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Those same reports indicated they had drawn up a plan to lure the striker on the cheap and were planning to use Tosun, who is currently on loan with Besiktas, to bring down his asking price.
That, though, won’t be happening, according to Fotomaç, who cover the reports today and say Besiktas have no interest in such a deal.
According to their information, the Turkish club’s administration ‘do not look favourably’ on the proposal of Tosun plus cash for Larin.
They ‘do not intend’ to sell Larin for a figure below €15m, meaning Everton may have to reconsider their plans if they really do intend to move for the striker this summer.
