The Blues would be willing to pay a ‘heavy’ price for the 29-year-old, who has 21 goals in 22 games in all competitions this season.

That suggests Everton would be willing to spend big to get their man, although that may be in vain regardless.

TMW state it is ‘unthinkable’ to imagine the top scorer in Serie A moving away from Lazio in the near future, with the Italian club unlikely to be even willing to negotiate a sale of their star man, particularly in January.
