Everton are perhaps the Premier League club which has been linked most with a move for Kwadwo Asamoah.
Every now and again a story pops up in Italy mentioning the Goodison Park club and sometimes it rumbles on after being picked up by the English press.
Calciomercato report the Everton interest again, and the general idea makes some sense. With a contract expiring in June of this year, the 29 year old is available from Juventus on a free transfer.
Asamoah can play left back, left midfield and also a defensive midfield role, whoever signs the player will be getting a versatile option for their squad.
Inter Milan are presented as keen too, and determined not to lose out on the player to Everton or anyone else. The Serie A club ‘have no intention’ of losing out on Asamoah, but obviously the player gets a rather big say in all this too.
If he fancies staying in Italy, then it’s fortunate for Inter, but if Asamoah is attracted by the bright lights of the Premier League then there’s a good chance for any genuine Everton interest.
