Everton announced the appointment of Ronald Koeman recently, and it didn’t take the media too long to link a few Dutch players to the Merseyside club.

Also, if you can add some sort of a reunion story to it, then it’s likely to become a talking point all summer.

The latest name to be linked to the club is Wesley Sneijder, because who doesn’t want him? The 32-year-old has came close to signing for almost every big club in the Premier League in the last few years.

According to Turkish website Sondakika, Koeman is keen on a reunion with Sneijder, after the duo worked together at Ajax.

The 32-year-old has a couple of years left on his contract at Galatasaray, but has a release clause of €7.5m in his contract, which shouldn’t be a problem for the Premier League side.

Everton, however, should be ready to match his huge wages. It is reported Koeman has been promised a huge transfer kitty at Everton, which would be very much clear in the upcoming days.

Frankly, Turkish media are not really reliable when it comes to Sneijder, he’s been linked with numerous clubs since moving to Galatasaray.
