Loaned by Bayern Munich to Parma in the January transfer window, Joshua Zirkzee had few chances to prove himself in Italy, as he’s been struggling with injuries since his arrival.

Still, the Serie A side would like to trigger the buying option and sign the player in a €15m deal, even if they don’t get to keep him after that. The story is explained by Tutto Mercato Web.

Parma have just been relegated to Serie B, and in case they do make a move to sign Zirkzee, the idea would be to immediately loan him out somewhere else.

The report claims that the likes of Everton and Paris Saint Germain are both in the race for the 19-year-old, but that would depend on a few other factors first.

A move to these clubs would have to do with the future of Moise Kean, who’s loaned by the Toffees to the French side until the end of the season.

In case PSG decide to keep the striker, then Zirkzee becomes an option for Carlo Ancelotti. If the Everton loanee goes back to Goodison Park, then it’s the Parisians who go after the Dutch youngster.

Tutto Mercato Web says there’s still a long way to go until Zirkzee’s situation is sorted, especially because other clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan and AS Roma are all interested in the teenager as well.
