Everton are ‘in the game’ with European clubs to sign Vasco da Gama youngster Andrey Santos

That’s according to Le10 Sport, who explain the 18-year-old is on the radar of the Toffees, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Genoa.

The report focuses on the Ligue 1 winners’ interest in the defensive midfielder. They are at work to sign FC Porto’s Vitinha and Lille’s Renato Sanches. Deals for the duo are likely to follow after PSG confirm the arrival of their new manager, likely to be Christophe Galtier.

Luis Campos is now an advisor to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and he is in charge of the club’s transfer business in the ongoing window.

After securing a deal for Vitinha, and possibly even Sanches, Campos is hoping to bring in a third midfielder and this is where Andrey comes into the picture. Apart from PSG, the Brazilian is on the agenda of Barca, who have kept tabs on him for several months.

Le10 tag Everton and Genoa as these two clubs are ‘in the game’ for the teenager. That’s the only information the website mentions about the Premier League side.

Vasco da Gama, down their end, ‘could accept’ parting ways Andrey this summer, if there is an offer of €8m.

Everton looking at Andrey isn’t new as UOL in Brazil reported in January the Merseyside club are interested in him.
