Everton defender Yerry Mina has been offered to Brazilian side Flamengo, according to claims from South America.
Outlet Torcedores writes that this possibility was brought to the Rio de Janeiro side by agent Giuliano Bertolucci.
Mina is said to be interested in listening to an offer from Flamengo, as he knows he’s one of the targets for manager Paulo Sousa, to play alongside David Luiz and Rodrigo Caio.
The red and white side, meanwhile, are said to be evaluating the possibility of a bid. According to Torcedores, that offer would be for a loan with an option to buy, where the Toffees would still keep 50% of a future sale.
The Brazilian transfer window closes on the 12th of April, so for that to happen, Mina would have to leave the Goodison Park before the end of the season.
It’s said that the loan would cost Flamengo around €2m, and Everton are said to be ‘interested’ in making his farewell easy.
The Colombian only has eight appearances for the Toffees this season, mostly because of his struggles with injuries. That’d be one of the reasons why the Goodison Park side wouldn’t block his exit.
