Monaco right-back Djibril Sidibé is reportedly edging closer to his transfer to Everton, which should be made official soon.
As reported by French journalist Rablat Cedric, the 27-year-old has now passed his medical ahead of his move to Goodison Park.
Everton are expected to sign the player on a loan deal, in an agreement which includes a buying option of €14m.
Rablat Cedric adds that the move should be made official tonight, so the announcement shouldn’t take much longer.
The player suffered a damaged meniscus in April of last year and avoided surgery on it to make the World Cup squad with France. So Everton probably needed to make sure everything was right before concluding the move.
