SHARE brings some claims about Frank Fabra today that may interest Everton and the club’s fans.

According to the outlet, La Viola are well positioned in the race for the Boca Juniors left-back, having already met the player’s agent.

The website doesn’t mention Everton’s competition. The only contenders they name are Napoli, who are said to not be as well placed as Fiorentina.

They put La Viola as the most likely club to bring the player to Europe, but leave things quite blank regarding competition from abroad.

That’s good and bad news for those who want Fabra at Everton. Good because Napoli’s exit from the race obviously makes the chase easier, although this approach from Fiorentina makes it look like things are advancing.

Last week, Sport Witness was able to reveal Everton’s interest in the player has gone a bit cold, with people in Argentina expecting that a change in the club’s ‘sport direction’ would make a possible transfer collapse.

With the Toffees taking a while to move, maybe there won’t be a chance if they leave it for later.
