Tuesday’s edition of Spanish newspaper Sport has a small snippet on the future of Juanpe Ramirez, and it includes a mention for Everton.
The Girona defender has many ‘girlfriends’, which is how the Spanish media sometimes describes interest from other clubs. After a ‘great season’ in La Liga for Girona, it’s claimed Juanpe has attracted interest from Everton, Sevilla and Freiburg.
Everton and Frieburg are said to ‘have asked’ for the player, with Sport giving no further indication on what that exactly means.
Sevilla haven’t gone that far but they ‘follow the track’ of the situation whilst considering whether to move or not.
Sport believe Juanpe would prefer to continue playing his football in Spain, but don’t make it clear whether than rules out Everton and Freiburg completely.
Juanpe is 27 years of age and has been around a bit in Spain, coming through the ranks at Las Palmas before playing for Racing Santander, then signing for Granada but being loaned back to Racing and then on to Valladolid, and then moving to Girona in 2016.
