Everton’s Oumar Niasse could finally be on his way out of Merseyside with Turkish club Trabzonspor seriously interested in him. We’ve covered the transfer link before and now there’s been an update.
Local newspaper TrabzonAjans (via Milliyet) claim Everton want a loan fee of £1m for Oumar Niasse, and Trabzonspor’s officials are currently trying to reduce this a little bit.
That’s changed slightly from earlier claims Everton wanted a permanent transfer at £8m, perhaps there’s been a compromise.
Niasse hasn’t managed to forced his way into Ronald Koeman’s plans this season and he now accepts that his Everton career is going to end sooner rather than later.
Trabzonspor are struggling heavily in front of goal this season as Karadeniz Fırtınası has only scored 7 goals in 10 games, and manager Ersun Yanal thinks Oumar Niasse will help the team solve their problems.
The 26-year old made the breakthrough in Turkey with Akhisar Belediyespor and earned a move to Lokomotiv Moscow. Niasse has been linked to move away from Everton since summer and it seems more and more likely that he’ll end up leaving the Goodison Park at the January transfer window. Given his success in Turkey, it’s an obvious destination.
