Nottingham Forest fullback Renan Lodi is reportedly drawing the interest from European sides.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the 24-year-old, who belongs to Atletico Madrid and is loaned to the Tricky Trees, is now wanted by Juventus.
It’s said the Old Lady seek a player to replace Alex Sandro, whose contract is running out this summer, and see Lodi as an alternative.
It’s just interesting how Fichajes doesn’t even consider the possibility of Lodi staying at Nottingham Forest at the end of his loan spell.
Even though the Reds reportedly have a €30m buying option over the player, that isn’t even mentioned.
The outlet just writes that Lodi hasn’t been able to convince Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, and that’s why the club would be happy to negotiate him with Juventus this summer.
It’s recently been reported that Nottingham Forest have no interest in triggering the buying option for the Brazilian, but maybe Steve Cooper and Evangelos Marinakis could still try to negotiate for his permanent move once the window is open.
After all, with 24 appearances sthis season, he’s been useful for the Reds.
