Manchester United are looking to offload at least six players this summer, according to multiple reports from the British press.
Diogo Dalot, who has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, has made only one appearance since the restart.
Two days ago, ESPN reported the 21-year-old is one of the players heading towards the exit door.
It was also explained that Barcelona have ‘shown an interest’ in Dalot, and no additional details were mentioned.
Juventus’ Mattia De Sciglio has also been linked with a move to the Camp Nou.
Mundo Deportivo has provided the Blaugrana’s stance on the two fullbacks in today’s edition of the newspaper. They explain both Barca and De Sciglio’s agent have denied any movement for the Italian.
Dalot, on the other hand, is viewed as an ‘alternative’ to current players, mainly because it’s assumed he wouldn’t cost a lot. As per the report, the transfer fee would be around €17.4m.
As far as Mundo Deportivo have it, Dalot has been offered to Barcelona, rather than the Catalan club overtly chasing the Manchester United player.
Whilst the Portuguese player hasn’t been dismissed as an option, there doesn’t sound anything concrete in this right now.
