Brighton & Hove Albion have sold Alexis Mac Allister and are likely to part ways with Moisés Caicedo this month after Roberto De Zerbi admitted the Ecuadorian will be allowed to leave The Amex.

The Seagulls are in the market for a new midfielder and Nicolás Domínguez has been identified as one of their targets.

That’s according to today’s Corriere Di Bologna, who mention Brighton are one of the clubs in the picture to sign the Bologna player.

It’s claimed the 25-year-old is included in De Zerbi’s target list to replace Mac Allister and Caicedo.

The newspaper focuses on the Serie A side’s potential business in the remaining days of the window. With regards to outgoings, they state the Argentina international is ‘certainly’ at the club’s exit door.

Galatasaray have come forward to sign the South American but Corriere Di Bologna say the ‘opportunity that awaits the player’s entourage is Brighton’.

In other words, Domínguez and his camp are waiting for the Premier League side to make an effort to sign him.

Domínguez’s deal expires in 2024. He managed three goals and two assists from 34 games last season.
